The Department of Textile Engineering at Daffodil International University, in association with Textile Trend, successfully organized the National Summit on Textile Printing 2026, presented by Zamson, in collaboration with AOPTB and TEA.
This program was organized in honor of Daffodil International University's Silver Jubilee celebration, adding special significance to the event. The summit brought together around 50 leading industry and academic experts, creating a vibrant platform for innovation and knowledge exchange.
The program began with a welcome address by Dr. Engr. Tanvir Ahmed Chowdhury, followed by remarks from Dr. M. Shamsul Alam. The Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Mohammed Masum Iqbal, emphasized innovation and academic excellence in textile printing. The keynote session by Md. Riajul Islam Sohel highlighted advanced technologies and global trends, while the Chief Guest, Dr. Engr. Md. Zulhash Uddin, shared insights on the future of textile printing.
The summit featured panel discussions, project showcases, quizzes, and technical sessions, enhancing practical learning and strong industry-academia collaboration.
This initiative reflects DIU’s commitment to advancing textile printing education, innovation, and industry partnership in Bangladesh.
