The National Textile Football Championship (NTFC) 2026 – Season 1 has officially kicked off at Daffodil International University!
For the first time, 8 teams from 8 renowned textile institutions across Bangladesh have come together to celebrate sportsmanship, friendship, and collaboration beyond the classroom.
The tournament was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Mohammad Masum Iqbal, Pro-Vice Chancellor of DIU, in the presence of Professor Dr. M. Shamsul Alam, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, along with faculty members, organizers, and enthusiastic participants.
After an action-packed knockout round filled with competitive spirit and teamwork, the journey now moves toward the Semi-Finals and Grand Final, where the first-ever NTFC champion will be crowned.
Organized by the Department of Textile Engineering, DIU, in collaboration with Textile Trend, Chem-Colour Corporation, IEOM Society, and DIU Textile Club.
